We use two types of cookies.
Necessary
These cookies enable core website functionality such as security, network management, and accessibility. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the site will not then work. These cookies do not store any personal data.
Performance
These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources, so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. The cookies collect information in a way that does not directly identify anyone.
On other websites you might come across another type of cookie called Targeting Cookies. We do not use any such cookies as we do not have any advertising partners.
The cookies we use and their type are:
1) Cookie Name: _ga (Type: Performance)
This cookie name is associated with Google Universal Analytics – which is a significant update to Google’s more commonly used analytics service. This cookie is used to distinguish unique users by assigning a randomly generated number as a client identifier. It is included in each page request in a site and used to calculate visitor, session and campaign data for the sites analytics reports.
2) Cookie Name: _dd_s (Type Necessary)
This cookie is a short duration cookie from Datadog which is a tool we use for security monitoring of the platform.
3) Cookie Name: pmpro_visit (Type Performance)
This cookie is a short, session only, cookie used to track members (logged-in users) activity including logins, visits, and page views.
SCAMLE uses analytics data and the Google Analytics cookie to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to our website. Site visitors may opt out of the Google Analytics cookie by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page or they may opt out of Google Analytics by visiting the Google Analytics opt-out page. Google has additional information available about their Remarketing Privacy Guidelines, Policies, and Restrictions.
